We're getting low on ketchup (can be considered a crime in my parents household). I've been working on getting corn syrup out of our diet. Does anyone know of a brand which does not have that stuff in it? I found a BBQ sauce, finally, without high fructose corn syrup, or even any corn syrup (I think it's Bulls Eye, but I'm not sure) and would like to also have a ketchup. Hm. and a mayo wouldn't be bad either.

There's a couple on this list: http://www.stophfcs.com/list.html
I don't know. I just try not to make much that requires ketchup, because that will mean I am eating FRIES! Although, I eat them baked and probably am not doing myself any dis-service there, I don't need all the calories! We are trying to eat better again, but it is not easy!
Yep, I said it! We are trying to eat better, again!
You could always try to make some. ;) haha I don't know any recipes, but I'm not sure how to get rid of corn syrup. Glad to see a blog, even if it is short. I miss you!
P.S. I had good luck today. I returned my yarn, and it was still $50, even though she said it was on sale. I don't know what she did in that computer of hers, but it worked out great for me!!
Marcia, you know something? I don't think it's worth it to try the natural stuff. I had to, for a while, when my immune system was so compromised. It really is tasteless tomato goo. I'd stick with Heinz and use it in moderation.
There are easier places to eliminate corn syrup from your diet: cereals, etc. But, ketchup really needs it. It's All American. *wink*
Have you checked to see if there are any recipes to make your own? My parents used to make what they call Ripe Tomato Ketchup, but it's not really like the stuff in the bottle.
Organic ketchup is all I've found around here. It's hard to find anything without that junk in it!
Muir Glen Organic Ketchup is one we have used.
