in addition

To go with the baby boy bunting I posted about a week or so ago, I've made a little hat using Toni's basic hat pattern (I added some ribbon around the brim that is white with little blue footprints). Also I crocheted a blanket from the Easy Ripple Afghan pattern, using the same variegated yarn on both ends and for a HDC edging (an? I guess that depends on whether you read it "H-D-C" or "half double crochet").

Neat to have a whole little set. Maybe a mom will keep the blanket as a memory blanket. I pray it helps the parents find some measure of comfort.

What a thoughtful gift, Marcia...even in a sad situation. It's beautifully made and I know you put your heart into it.

You know, I am really having a hard time looking at something so beautiful and knowing what it will be used for. I feel very sad inside seeing it! I don't know what else to say, but UGH! I am so sorry for people who have to go through such an awful loss. To never know your child...

Thanks! I got the link and can't wait to show the ladies next week. This will be a nice compliment to our ministry. Several ladies really want to come, but just don't want to knit or crochet, so we are adding a variety of quilting to our ministry. They will be excited to see something that can be easily done together and then donated to those in need. Thanks Again! Sandi
