some of the gifts I made

This year I crocheted 4 doll blankies and 3 doll dresses (but promised one for Tessa in the near-ish future). One of the blankets was on its merry way before I thought to take a picture. That one is another granny square blanket. My favorite was the shell stitch blanket (dark purple in the back). I made that one last and was sure I wouldn't be able to figure it out - but I did!

For Birdie & Mikay (my oldest two) I made bracelet/necklace/earring sets.

And because she likes ponchos, I made this for Tess.

Suzy received one of the doll dress/blanket sets, a penguin and a charm bracelet. I made some slippers for my husband and earrings (that I didn't photograph) for sisters and friends.

and here is my wreath, enjoying the Utah snow:

Hope your Christmas (if you celebrated) was merry and bright.
Now on to New Years' and that pesky "get in shape" resolution. I don't know about you, but I'm about sugared out anyway.

My children love LOVE their gifts! S7 hasn't put the alien down. H9 has carried around her baby dressed in the dress, bonnet and blanket since Christmas morning and right now all 3 of them are outside playing in the snow wearing the hats you made. *G* H9 tried to steal my scarf but I stopped her at the door. lol

You have been really busy, and the gifts are beautiful. Isn't it satisfying to make things with your own hands.

As you know, I made a bunch of things this year too. I really enjoy it, but if I do the same next year, I will give myself lots of room for things to go wrong!

Your gifts are all very neat!

Great gifts! All the blankets are lovely, but I am partial to the colors and patterns on the shell blanket :)

The yarn wreaths seem to have become popular. Apparently Starbucks is using them, but of all the ones I have seen photos of, I like yours best.

So pretty, I love the blue blanket the most I think. Wish I could crochet better.

Those are *beautiful* gifts, Marcia. I love each and every one, and hope they were well received.

As far as getting in shape, I've just started running...no joke. I needed something for cardio to balance out my yoga practice. My children are in shock, but I'm very proud. So, put on some sneakers and just run around the block. It feels scary good !
