stapler

The other day my five-year-old came to me and asked:

"Mommy, where is that stamp thing that you put papers together and then (clapped her hands) puts a bullet in it?"

This is hilaroius to me because one of my 5 year olds came home from church last week insisting that he needed my STAMPLER! The sad part is that it took me a good minute to even figure out what it was that he wanted!

One more funny stapler thing...

I went to Wal-Mart for diapers and came home with the usual "few more things" and happened to unwrap said things on my bed. Last night I was changing the baby's diaper on my bed and when I lifted her backside up I noticed a staple stuck to her butt! Of course, I quickly picked it off and got rid of it, but I was kind of horrified by the fact that I had not seen that before her butt magnet picked it up!

T sure is cute! I like that she called it a bullet. I've never heard anyone call it that before. *giggle*

Marcia, that's precious....remember those funny little moments. Before you know it, the girls will be saying things that you just as soon they *not* know the meanings of. I love the stapler story. Love, Ellen

That's what I love about having a blog -- one place to keep all the cute kid stories.

I have a little book where I write down the funny things they say. It's so sweet to look back on, Daisy used to think our dogs were Tissues, because she didn't understand Shih Tzu.
