Mikay on the 4th of July. We walked up to the park by my parent's house where she got dizzy from spinning too long on the merry go round - aka death trap. it's the same one we played on as children. I just closed my eyes and pretended not to see.
I've been a serious slacker in the crafty department. I've got a water bottle sling half way done for my sister. I've got a ladybug started, but couldn't get the head to work like I wanted so it's having a time out. I was very stressed about Mom's surgery (ps, she's home now) and I'm not even sure what I did all of last week. Now I'm just tired. I need someone to come crochet/knit with me. Someone to keep me company so I can get back into the groove. Anyone? Anyone?
anyone know what flower this is? We passed a couple houses with them out front along the way. I'd love to have them in my yard.

A pretty one! The girl and the flower! I think she looks like someone though? Hmmm? Sure seems like I can see her daddy shining through in that pic! Right? Not that I would REALLY know, but from the pics I have seen, I think so.
Anyway, get on the craft wagon Lady! I wanna see that lady bug!
I wish I could just pop over and crochet/knit with you! It would be so awesome, but alas, I am stuck states away. You have every right to be stressed right now. That damned lady bug needs a time out and spanking for adding to your stress!! How dare she?!
Good luck this week on getting her back into shape, your mom and the lady bug. You show that bug who's boss. ahah
I wanna come crochet with you!
I never mind a creature that needs a time out (or maybe it's me who needs the time out?) - especially a ladybug :)
I'd love to come sit on the deck with you and knit. Crafting is always better with a friend.
I bet your other daughter Kimber would love to knit with and/or be taught how to to crochet by you.
I love that picture of your girl. Beautiful.
That's what I need to get my house in order.. company. It's so tedious and I'm so far behind. I've seen those flowers, and I think I've seen the name at one time, but I can't recall. I'll see what I can find out. They are pretty. Beautiful pic, did you take it?
I think the memorial was pretty sweet. :) That's a great way to remember someone.
The flower is Hypericum (St. John's Wort). Great blog!
