Finally blue sky overhead here. My lawn has about 7 inches of snow. Some children next door made a snowman yesterday out of the water-heavy snow. It was difficult to shovel because it was so heavy. Thankfully, the sidewalks and driveway were still warm with summer heat, and it melted some of the snow before I got the shovel out.

Is snow this early in the year a weather record? Looks like the kids enjoyed it.

Forgive me for saying this, but it is 8:37 here and already 61 degrees, which is rather unseasonable, but nice. I can not imagine SNOW, although my kids are dying to see it fall!

Marcia, I'm amazed ! I'd be sure that we'd have snow in Maine first...and it's comfortably in the 50's today. Enjoy it...I'm sure you will have a warmer spell soon.
